No commenting if you're going to be rude please. I have decided not to get any shot through out my pregnancy. The only shot I got was a mandatory because I had a negative blood type. Did anyone else deny all the shots and have any problems or was your baby healthy ? I just am sick of getting judged, my mom had a bad experience with getting all the shots so I decided not to.

Neonatal tetanus, pertussis, and the flu are all very serious illnesses and can kill newborns. Just because there is a "flu season" doesn't mean the flu magically goes away. Please don't take this as being rude, but they offer the vaccinations for a reason. Pertussis is often carried by adults who don't show symptoms.
I never agreed to get shots with both pregnancy. I didn't even get them after I had both boys. The only needle that touched my arm was for blood drawls and of course the IV when you go into labor but that was it. I haven't had the flu shot in 7 yrs and my two yr old has all his but I skipped the flu shot and will continue to do so.
i only got the flu shot but everything else i was like nahhh, and i didnt even want a flu shot at that!
I declined all shots as well. This pregnancy I declined a lot of things that I felt were just unnecessary. I also declined all genetic screenings as well.
I got the tdap, but refuse the flu shot. I've never had the flu, never had the shot.
I am very for shots, but the only shot that was offered to me was the Tdap which is the whopping cough one. I got the flu shot for because it is mandatory for my job. But I work at two medical facilities.
I didn't get the flu shot, wasn't told I needed any others. Gonna get tdap after I have my son though

I didn't get any shots but I will be getting the whooping cough shot right after baby is born. they have to offer the flu shot but if baby isnt going to be born during flu season then it's pointless. in my opinion. and I know my baby is healthy cuz ive had plenty of tests & ultrasounds.

My doctor also recommended me getting the flu shot while pregnant ? I'm not sure if I want to or if i should ? It's all scary to me !! What do you ladies think ? Did you get the flu shot while pregnant ? Are there any risks? Or should I wait ? I'm so scared of taking anything while pregnant , much less getting this shot.. He said it isn't mandatory , just recommended.

Finally, after nearly FORTY-TWO weeks... I decided to get induced. Baby Violet scared me with some decreased fetal movement and I couldn't wait any longer.

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
TMI Moment: I have yeast infections after all antibiotics they put me on. An it's getting very irritating. My next appointment not till 9/5 and I don't have ride to hospital. Any suggests ?
@liveitwithlove, my mom & grandma had a very severe reaction to the tdap shot and both ended up in the hospital.
