Hearing how some people have their babies at home without having no to stay in a creepy hospital for a few day makes me want to do it myself. But I'm to afraid of the what ifs plus we don't have a place to do one. Plus I can't imagine doing it without an epidural and the help of the nurses helping me reach my babies how to breast feed.
for all woman who had labor without medications. I'm so proud of you! You guys are truely strong woman!

honestly most "complications" come from doctors....pitocin, epidural and all that cause complications. being at the hospital vs home they do the same monitoring by checking the heart beat. but if you're induced or even if you're not induced the hospitals push pitocin even if you're laboring on your own but going to slow for them. they want you in and out usually unless you're there with a midwife it's a lot better. I'd never have an ob again after being with midwives. plus the hospital I chose is very pro choice on what you wanna do with labor. end of the day having an epidural leads to more complications vs natural.
The hospital I go to leaves the baby with you 24/7 and if they need to weigh them or give them their first tub shots etc they will wait till u get up so you go with your baby everywhere. But it's the fact that for two days you live at the hospital. Even tho my baby will be with me 24/7 and never leave my side id rather be at home in my own bed and with my son
the hopsital im going to is right down the street and they let you have the baby right after it is born there is no nursey. I love the hospital it is baby friendly
I'm in a apartment lol and my neighbors would call the cops for a noise complaint and we have rugs everywhere and its so small. Plus my man is afraid of complications. So he asked my to go to the hospital but that if I want to try without meds then he'll support me he just wants his two girls watched over closely so he doesn't lose us
Should at least have a midwife to help of the baby has any issues
You can do it. You dont need all that help, you can buy a pool for your home and fill it with water.

Has no impact on when and how you decide to have sex? I read a comment on another thread that really rubbed me the wrong way. Something about how teens have sex and there's just no stopping it no matter how you raise them.

my opinion is that is very risky having the baby at home cause you never know what complications you can have and if you need medical equipment immediately for you or baby is better to be at the hospital were they are professionals and have the equipment in case of emergencies. we can be extremely healthy but we never know.
