In your opinion what are the best birth control options?? What type of bc lasts the longest? I was going to get my tubes tied but my husband and I decided on him getting a vasectomy and I will be getting birth control for backup.

I third that copper IUD! I'm getting it in 4 weeks. no hormones so safe for breastfeeding and won't gain weight and lasts 10 years.

I use mirena it's an iud as well and yes it did hurt, the one I have lasts for up to 5 years and has very lil hormones, the reason y I got it it's because I didn't know it had hormones or else I would've gotten the copper one

Copper IUD for sure. You really don't want to mess around with hormones.

Copper iud lasts up to 10 years with no hormones :)
