idk what else to do. My son is a week old and he will not stay asleep.. everytime I get him to bed. about 20 minutes later he wakes back up crying. I have fed him, changed him, swaddled him, cuddled him, rocked him, gave him gas medicine, talked to him, burped him.. idk what to do.... 😩
It's completely normal he's just trying to get used to the outside and not being all bundled with mommy try swaddling or even co sleeping
ooo try what they call a pod from babies r us if you have one close. it worked wonders for me. it swaddles your baby but zips up instead of you having to worry about swaddling tightly. my daughter only weighed 5 lbs at birth and didn't sleep well in the hospital and was difficult to swaddle. the pod was AMAZING!! just saying. ☺ she seemed to sleep more peacefully.
Try having him in the bed. He probably is being clingy right now. my son was like that at your babies age and I brought him into our bed, fell asleep so quick.
@jgarciamua he is sleeping in a bassinet next to my bed that vibrates. but not in the same bed
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
I need help!!! Something is wrong with my dog and I have no money or job to take him to the vet. I think hes dying idk
I found out my bf smoked pot today and made him leave. He was 6 months clean. Idk what to do the house is so empty without him.
Make your own breakfast!
At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.
I had to sleep on the couch holding my daughter the first week we had her home. It gets easier.
