As of October 1 WIC will be switching to enfamil formula and doing away with Similac....

So it's only for the state of Alabama

@ehq, no its not every state. I asked the wic lady just 2 days ago why some do use similac and some dont. She said it just all depends upon what kind of rebate there is when he contract is up and they do bids. @motherofthree87

our wic office hasn't ever used similac. they have been with Gerber

Oh ok and right now my baby is on similac soy and she is doing great with it but she was on enfamil in the hospital so I am just going to see how it works @ariliyahzihmommy3

Our WIC dept did away with Similac back some years ago when I had my 2nd daughter && switched to Gerber. My baby gets Enfamil Nutramigen thru a prescription from doc. Wish they would've kept Similac...she was great on the Advance
