Is it recommended to take pain killers before having a sweep done?

You probably won't need them, it is very uncomfortable but it only lasts about 30 seconds. The nurse just kept telling me to take deep breaths. xx

It's not too bad tbh just deep breaths and it only hurts whilst they are doing it for the few seconds a bit like a period pain xx
