How long did you mom's wait before you went on leave from work? I'm 38 weeks today and decided I couldn't handle this anymore, so I resigned. Is two weeks before too early? I'm just too damn tired and I hurt too much for this..
I stopped at 32 weeks, only because I had a early labor scare. stayed in hospital 2 days, doctors stopped contractions and sent me home, and put me on bed rest. Doctors order...no more work. I'm 35 weeks now just waiting to deliver. any day now I guess because I'm already 4cm
I worked my last pregnancy the full 9 months I'm a professional pet groomer...very physical job...so far i plan to work until i give birth again on monday ill be 6 months...def not easy. when i have to drive 1 hr 30 min every tue-fri(school traffic in miami sucks)20 min drive on sat...
I already give you major props for making it that far! I haven't been working at all this pregnancy because I'm just drained. I get light headed if I stand too long, nauseous if im not eating every hour or so, I'm completely exhausted from hardly sleeping. I'm young and healthy, this shouldn't be this hard 😂
@alfysmommy, I totally understand that! I have desk job as well, but I walk 15-20 mins to the bus station and back every day.. today it took me almost 35 minutes because I hurt so damn badly! I definitely need time to relax.
I was suppose to work 4 days before my csection and I got put in bed rest last week.
I stopped at 35.5 I wanted to go longer but it was getting very overwhelming especially with those swollen feet I had I ended up having my son at 37.6
my ob told on I can start leave at 38 weeks and collect my disability through my employer or NYS
Mine is next Friday and I will be 37 weeks and man I am more than ready to be able to get some sleep after I drop my husband off at work
I worked until 37idh I to had to take the bus and walk then stand on my feet at work as a cashier it sucked
