so, my newborn is exclusivity being breast fed. She takes to it well, I have loads of support and a lactation consultant who is wonderful and a genius.
She is trying to eat every hour now though, and I feel like that is just a bit much.. doctors and lactation consultant have said feed every 2 to 3 hours.
any of you mommies ever have this issue?
I have been having lactation problems for about a month now. I have been producing less. I have been trying Mother's Milk, but I just get annoyed drinking hot tea every night. Like I feel that should be something I have on the go. So tomorrow I am going to look for Fenugreek. My aunt recommended it. She said she used it and she produced ALOT. So I am definitely crossing my fingers on this!
My August baby decided she wanted to be a May baby like her big sister. Madison Noelle was born on Tuesday, May 24 at 3:50pm, weighing 2lbs, 13oz and 14". She was born at 27 weeks and has a long road ahead of her. Every day she has been getting stronger and amazing everyone. Please keep us in your prayers, my family and I have a long road ahead of us. 8 healthy crock pot meals (7 to freeze and one for dinner tonight) prepared and cleaned up in less than two hours (would have taken less but I have a newborn so I was limited to one hand at times). I feel accomplished and am soooo looking forward to not cooking every night!
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!

My baby ate every hour and he still does. He is 7 months old and I feed on demand. Nothing wrong with it

normal. your baby is signaling your body to make more milk... The first month is the hardest. When your supply regulates it gets a lot easier.

There's no one size fits all for when to nurse. That generally means dont go more than 2 to 3 hrs without feeding rather than baby shouldnt eat sooner than 2 to 3 hrs.
Also babies cluster feed when they are having growth spurts
