How other moms take care of diaper rash ?
I used in the beginning Destin and try to get different organic diapers nothing helped .
Then I find a solution , it takes a lots of work but it's worth it.
@babyjayden, I dry his bottom each time for a while and been applying olive oil . All the rashes is gone and I feel my baby boy more comfortable and no more crying changing time . I guess things work differently with every kid .
I used A&D that worked best for my son. The doctor told me to let him air dry for a few minutes before putting on a new diaper and to use a wet wash cloth to clean his bottom. And just apply A&D for every diaper change. My son is so sensitive that I have to put it on him. If I don't apply every time his rash comes back. The doctors always say to try different creams to see which works best!
yup i just trying to share wat the other moms said. they regretted it. yeast infections look like really bad diaper rashes..so it can b that that is why i warned. not because the water can cause them. caldescene for baby uses cornstarchi believe. i use what works for me . my grandmas used real constarch and cream. lol.
@yummycake, Washing the skin and putting extra Virgin olive oil soothes the irritated skin ... Actually it's proven by my grand mothers and my mom . They used to wash and apply oils . Be careful from powders if it has talc in it ,, it can cause cancer too . I go by more natural things that has no side effects . If we can eat olive oil nothing will hurt the skin .
well i have heared sad stories of kids whos moms have washed the bottoms and it basically makes their skin very easy to burn. if they pee a bit or dont clean right when a little older...but those r things told to me.
i use caldescene powder on my kiddo. it works awesome. buy it at walmart or walgreens. be careful or yeast infections.
