On Monday (40+4 weeks) I had a midwife appointment at 11 am. I was dilated to a 2, 85% effaced, babies head was very high up. I had a membrane sweep done. At 1 pm I had my first contraction, I timed them at 5 minutes apart.
At 4 pm I called L&D because I had started having bright red bleeding along with the contractions. I was then dilated to a 3 with contractions at 3 minutes apart. They sent me home.
At 9 pm I went back to the hospital, dilated to a 4 with contractions 2 1/2 minutes apart, they tried to send me home but I put my foot down because I knew my body was doing something. My goal was all natural but I caved in at about 12 am and had a dose of morphine. I was crying and screaming at this point. It honestly didn't help the pain, just made me sleepy.
At 1 am I got up to go to the bathroom and my water broke on the bed and all over the floor. They checked me, I was at an 8. Contractions immediately got much more intense and I begged for an epidural but there wasn't time.
I got checked again, at a 9, and got an undescribable urge to push. So I did, and out of me came the most primal guttural noise I've ever heard. I pushed about 5 times and at 2:42 am my 9 lb 1 oz, 21 in long son was born. I had a 2nd degree tear that required one stitch.
It is true that once you see that baby, you forget the pain. I can't even describe the fullness in my heart.

@talean89, you must have been exhausted! Yes, I was starting to get pretty pissed that they kept saying I was only in early labor and wouldn't be having him any time soon. No, I knew what was happening.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

But since last two days am not having good feeling....I just feel something is wrong inside wid d kid...all my symptoms r too less
Morning sickness is gone....Metallic taste of my tounge is also less....and I feel pain in my abdoman twice or thrice which is very minor though
What should i do i am very confused

Just feel that untill i hear the heartbeat or see my kid i wont b ok....got sleepless nights
