i know this is probly a stupid question and everyone says u will know when u go into labor and have a contraction, but this is my first preganacy and i think ive been having contractions. what do they feel like when they first start??

I had lots of consitant painful stomach tightening along with back pain. didn't think I was in labor even when they were 5 minutes apart (I thought they were braxton. hicks even though nothing I did made them go away)
Oh I mistaked them a lot for gas lol it happens too even experienced mothers I'm sure. If you feel it might be contractions you can always go to the hospital and find out. They get it all the time. You can call your doctor first too and see what they say.
Call or go to L&D if you still aren't sure. They'll be able to tell you.
@megbaby07, @patientlyawaitingdalton thats what they have been feeling like and my lower back constantly hurts but gets worse when i can feel the tightening coming and they feel like bad period cramps or bad gas. and thank you @megbaby07 i just dont want to feel stupid if i confuse it with something else
No question is stupid. I thought I wasn't going to know, but I did. Any question is good, when you don't know something you can always ask ❤️
depends on where they are. but either back pains or bad gas or menstrual cramps that can be timed
A tightening feeling that will stretch from your back too your front. The best way I can describe it is it's like gas trapped. It will last about a minute or so and ease off and come back.
