so i was just browsing thru the community section on my glow baby app . i came across a post from a mother who had her baby and her baby immediately had to get open heart surgery and all this other stuff . i cried reading this womans story and it made me think how i shouldnt be so upset about not getting to have my full water birth and how sore i am . because i have a healthy baby boy to show for it all . i couldnt even finish the whole thing 😔 idk this woman . idk her name . i do know i will be adding her and her baby and the family to my prayers tonight .

So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that

my mom died this morning. She lived with me. this morning she woke up and went to the bathroom. i was on zoom and i heard a bang. she died in the bathroom. i wasn’t able to open the door or help her. she’s had health issues but this was unexpected. my kids were at home, i had someone come get them. i had to stay in the house with her body until the funeral home came to get her. idk how to tell my kids. they loved her sooooo much. i don’t know how to be at home. i’m just so lost. she was all i had. my dad died when i was 12. idk i just wanted to vent.

She was born at 27 weeks and has a long road ahead of her. Every day she has been getting stronger and amazing everyone. Please keep us in your prayers, my family and I have a long road ahead of us.
