yeah my doctor said I should have him the end of September or the beginning of October . I probably want make it to my due date so I wanna start now !

I would start researching now. It's suggested to find one by 30 weeks, but I didn't find ours till I was 33 weeks. You still have time, but you don't want to push it too close to your due date in case your baby comes early.

I searched around my area for pediatric practices that accepted my insurance. Once I found the practice I liked, I researched the pediatricians within that practice. Once I found one I liked, I called to double check if they took my insurance and if they were accepting new patients. Once I got the answer I scheduled a "consultation meeting" to get to know him and see if mine and my husbands views matched up with him and the practice's. As for now, all I have to do is give the hospital his name and his practice and they will notify him upon my child's birth.

i called after i had him because they ask for their birthday and stuff...if you want to start looking for one and read the reviews you can..tgen when hes born ...call amd schedule his first appointment
