I know none of you are doctors but from experience does this look like strep throat? He had a headache yesterday & had a fever of 100.6 under the arm. Took Tylenol and within an hour he was fine. He hasn't complained of it until at dinner he said he didn't want to eat because his throat hurts. He's still drinking fine & being loud like normal. I know when I had strep I couldn't eat, drink, talk or even swallow my own spit without being in extreme pain!! I work 830-530 so chances of getting him to dr tomorrow are very slim. But Tuesday I would be able to take him after work. Unless I take him to urgent care tomorrow after I get off...he's had a runny nose also but no cough really..

@brantleysmommy25, I'm still going to as soon as they open. I don't want to self diagnose it. Also when he had hfm before the dr gave us some kind of cream to put on it so maybe we can get that again.
Id still take him. Hand foot and mouth is dangerous
@mommy_of_02, I'm like 90% sure it's hands foot & mouth...I didn't even think of that but once @brantleysmommy25 mentioned it, I looked a little bit more.. He has red spots on his hands/feet but they aren't bumps. You can't even feel them. And when I take a pic you can't see them.
If it was strep it would be white looking. Like white puss stuck in his throat. So I think it's okay to rule that out.
& I work in a daycare..& we have seen a few cases of hands foot and mouth plus a few sicknesses going around. He just started kindergarten also..
@mommyofallboys671, I know he had hands foot mouth before and all I could really do was wash everything daily but now I have a little one so if it is that hopefully it won't pass to her!!! We are going in the morning as soon as urgent care opens since they open sooner than the dr..I already contacted my boss.
even if it was hand foot mouth their is no treatment just treat if has a fever but strep needs to checked as soon as possible to get treated.
Could be Hand foot and mouth. Start checking hands and feet for the same spots. My son had that going on but it turned out to be Strep.
Yeah sometimes they don't get it in their mouths but sometimes they do. My son didn't get it in his mouth either.

Yeah I hope so! I'm praying for him! It's terrible. My son felt so bad and it broke my heart so I know yours is breaking as well
