I apologize if this is long. i just need help.
I wish I knew how to help my husband. We have suffered some financial hardships lately with me losing my job but I got a new one right away (have to work a month to get my 1st pay check), his hours have been cut since he was in school over the summer. the other day at work one of the CNA guys started calling him names and another female CNA started bullying him. he took this really hard. he finished taking his CNA class and took the written exam and passed it. then just took his skills test and was so nervous he failed it. he took this even worse then the other night. yesterday he began telling me how he doesn't want to live and how I don't deserve him. I need someone better then him. how he is just numb and no longer can feel anything but pain and sadness. I noticed that the percocet bottle was out this morning. he has been fighting teeth pain since having cavities filled 2 weeks ago. he has cold and hot sensitivity. the dentist said he needs root canals since the fillings didn't help. he didn't have pain before he got his teeth filled.
so yesterday over a 12hr period he took my last 3 xannax. he fell asleep at 10pm. and woke up somewhat better, then took 2 percocet before work and is back in his deep dark hole.
how can I help him? please help me help him thank you

@mommarodey, yes, I'm constantly reminding him, making his favorite meals (although not my fave), head rubs (nails on scalp and pressure points). my promises to him, I wrote them all out for him and put on his side of the mirror so he can see them daily. I even told him I would stop using our donor and ttc because he means more to me than being a mom. he told me that was hard to believe.
@mommarodey, he has a primary Dr and is on citalopram. he doesn't like talking to counselors since he had a bad experience when he was 12. he has attempted his life when he was 12 due to medical tumor on his pituitary gland.
Has he gone to see a doctor? Or counseling at all?
Humph.. That's hard. Just keep doing all that you can and pray (if you believe in that) that it will have a positive impact on him. You've done all you can do and it's time to hand it back to God (or whoever you believe in! If any)
