So let me get this straight... My boobs will waste my colostrum by leaking but when I'm trying to express for a valid reason all I get is a few drops 😓 buying my pump tonight 🙈

Did u not get given a Gd colostrum express syringe kit? If not u can buy some 1ml syringes from the chemist and hand express into the syringe drop by drop and when the time passes for that collection u put back into the syringe cover the paper thing put in a zip lock freezer bag and freeze them. If try putting warm compresses on your boobs for a bit first. One at a time. And then massage them. Sometimes u may only get a few drops but that is fine. A breast pump isn't advisable as u will loose those few drops within the chambers and there won't be much liquid in the base to then store. Some women can get a ml or two a day and others it's literally 0. Something. But that doesn't matter as even the smallest amounts will help baby when delivered

Use the syringe method of u look online it shows u how u can do it Hun u won't waste anything then 😃
your milk won't be established yet as baby isn't here, the milk comes when baby needs it, I was told with my son not to start expressing til he was 2 weeks old so he could establish my milk, and you don't waste your colostrum your body produces the correct amount after Labour for baby x

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

No but I am going to ask for one when I see her this Thursday. I missed the actual class so had only spoken to the midwife and it's highly likely that I will miss the next class too because OH will be away and it's at 7pm 😞 I didn't think it would of been this difficult but my memories are from expressing breast milk which is very different. Thank for the advice, seems I'll need OH help to collect drops as they come out x @suzie80
