No. They could develop water intoxication and could possibly kill them. There isn't any reason to give them water. You could give pedialyte. Is baby dehydrated? Just wondering if you're just wanting to give water or for some reason? Formula or breastmilk is mostly water and has more than enough to keep baby hydrated. 6 months is the youngest and even then maybe half to an ounce but still not needed at that age.

some doctors dont recommended it but i started with my son at one month not alot maybe an oz or two

@meganalyssa, no not until 6 months a sip here and there wont hurt if its super hot but babies get all the water they need from breast milk or formula
