his right eye is always leaking & crusting. it's been doing it for a week in a half. he doesn't seem bothered by it & it's not red or anything. what might this be & is it normal?

My baby also has a clogged duct but his ped said is best to let it clear on its own which could take up to a month

@kysonsmommy610, it might be bad enough to where you need a ointment from the dr then.

@ainsleighsmumma, that's what I've been reading, I've been putting my milk in it for about 4 days now

Most likely it's a clogged tear duct, super common in new borns, if you're breastfeeding put some breast milk in it.

my doctor told me that it was a clogged tear duct and to let it go away...but, I put breast milk in it every feeding let it sit for a couple secs and wiped it off. o also used a warm rag and massaged where the tear duct is for a minute or two
