can i take a bath at 4cm? my water hasnt broken. im having back pain and need to relax.

Yes they are supposed to admit you anything after 3cm.

Lol idk about now but back when my mom had my little sister she was at a 4 for a week and a half before she actually went into labor. Just depends on if the doctor thinks you're in active labor or not.

i called my midwife and her office is closed. they have an emergency line but idk if this in an emergency and i don't wanna be a burden! I'll call them.. this is a trip. @brynleesmama26

I actually took a bath while in labor. They had a bath tub in my labor and delivery room. But if your that far I would head in!

Usually they do admit you at 4cm. At least my hospital does anyway

Yes! You should call, like admitted into the hospital! My friend was 4-5 cm at 37 weeks they told her to come in the morning after to get induced because at 4-5 cm she was most likely going to go into labor any minute

I called my obgyn because i went to a water park and I'm dilated and they said up until the time you give birth you're okay to swim or take a bath they recommend you taking a bath in labor anyway!
