My 6 year old just told me that her dad sometimes leaves her and her 4 year old sister alone at his house while he runs to the store on his bike (he doesn't have a license right now) 😡😩😒 I always thought he had a friend watch them, but she said no, sometimes it's just her and her sister. I'm freaking out. If I ask him, he'll just deny it. What the fuck. I don't know what to do.

Tell her to call 911 next time . I think in Michigan it's illegal to leave a kid under 10 home alone.

Tell her to call you next time and you can drive over and catch it in action. That's what I would do first.

My step daughter, who is 7 just told me and her dad that her mom does that with her and her 4 year old STEP BROTHER (her moms bf's son) while she runs to Walmart! I was completely shocked and didn't know how to handle the situation especially since she lives in a completely different state. If I found out someone did that with my son I would flip out! I can't imagine how your feel.

But I would confront him first. Even if you feel like he would lie. Document everything.

Call and report it to the police and ask them what you need to do. If they can't do anything about it they can at least point you in the right direction as to who you should talk to next.

report him! I found out that my ex husband leaves our 11 year old son to watch our 9 year old daughter and his girlfriend's 9 year old daughter and 5 year old son..... Legally, it "depends on the child's maturity level" to be left alone, so there's no actual age, but yours are way too young! and in my case, my son is in no way, shape or form "mature enough" coz him and his sister can't get along to save their damn lives.....
