Temper tantrums!!! I know we'd all like to pretend our children are perfect angels all the time, but my babe is 13months and has always had a loud voice and a lot of personality (and yes, typically a very even temperament-except when he's with me and I don't give him what he wants - like my iced coffee or Gatorade from the wide mouth bottle ONLY, as demanded by his incessant screaming - and when I try to change his diaper, etc. and throws temper tantrums that include hair pulling, face grabbing, kicking, and lots and lots of very loud screaming. He's nearly 29lb of solid lean muscle (aka brute force) and I'm a single mom and have tried talking calmly, telling him it hurts mommy, holding his hands together and looking him in the eye, but I'm so fed up. I refuse to have my sweet boy continue down this path to become that 3yo in the middle of the parking lot or grocery store screaming bloody murder because I didn't buy him something he wanted. PLEASE HELP! What worked for you with your LOs at this age?

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Ok Mommies so my son is a year and a month and he starting to throw the most terrible temper tantrum like screaming and he also is starting to hit back and be a little bad. What did I guys do for discipline? I just put him in pack and)l(he doesn't like being in there for a long time) but I don't want to put him in say care of let my grandma hold him and he's hitting ppl in the face.
