Sooooo ladies guess what? I'm at WIC, they weighed the baby -he is 13 lbs 11 ounces, and they said do NOT stop breastfeeding and do NOT give him formula because he is doing just fine! They said the doctor gets kickbacks for pushing formula 😒 They looked on their growth chart and although he falls into the 10th percentile for weight, we are gonna get his weight up with baby food rather than formula 😄 Proud and happy mama right here. I won't give up unless I HAVE to. I am NOT knocking any mother who formula feeds, but I have not come this far - 6 months - of exclusively breastfeeding for nothing! I pumped every 2 hours day and night when he was in the NICU, I won't give up now!

the charts doctors use to see where babies should be are based on formula fed babies. i never listen to that. I'm so thankful my doctor is pro breastfeeding. he's the one who told me. my son has always been super little & if it was any other doctor I'm sure they would have told me to supplement. but my son is super healthy only sick once & ebf for 10 months so far.
