MOMS, I really need some help!!!! I've been trying to find a formula that works for my son. Soy works but makes him super constipated, Nutramigen gives him diarrhea, and Similac Alimentum gives him mucus along with bad acid reflux. Regular and sensitive formulas give him bad gas and makes him throw up a lot of milk. Apple juice doesn't work anymore, Karo syrup doesn't work, and he will not drink prune juice. I've have tried everything that I can think of, do you ladies know of anything else I can do??

I looked that up a while back but I didn't know if it would work. It's worth a try though since I have tried almost everything else! Thanks! @midwestgirl16
reguline enfamil is good for constipation...maybe try it.. i know its difficult i had to switch my son so many times before i found the right milk good luck
I know my baby was constipated with everything untill I tried the A R enfamil which is for acid reflux.. Honestly if its making him constipated it may be not be the one.. because he would still be gassy if he is constipated.
@midwestgirl16, we switched him back on Sunday to soy after Alimentum. He has always had the constipation on soy ever since he started it at 3 months
well how long has he been drinking the soy it takes a week for their bodies to adjust

@mrs.mccormick, I will. He doesn't have any gas problems on soy, he just can't use the bathroom and he cries in pain. @mzbritt89, I have but it didn't help him. He was on enfamil newborn first, then I tried gentlease, then Gerber gentle, then Gerber soothe, then soy and then the Nutramigen and alimentum 😔
sounds like he may need Zantac - talk to your doctor
no problem
