I will be 12 weeks at my next apt. My midwife said they'll be able to tell the gender then. I'm just really confused bc I feel like that's too early to tell and I'm having a gender reveal party so idk when to plan it! When did you find out your baby's gender?

hi,can you get the blood test? I just did mine today, i am only 10 weeks 5 days . The results should be back with in 7-10 days. it a 100?rtain
I think that's still too early it could be easily mistaken
I was told they can do it at 12 wks with special cases through blood test if ins covers it but my ins would not so my ultrasound will be where I find out and I'll be 20w1d and it is scheduled for the 25th
I would wait to have your gender reveal because I was told boy at 14 & 16 weeks and then at 17 weeks "he" was actually a girl!
13 weeks I found out i was having a boy via ultrasound and at the 20 week scan i reconfirmed it
I didn't find out until 18 weeks. Some people do the blood test the appointment before the ultrasound but I wanted to be able to see her & tell what she was!!
My doctor said you can find out a lot earlier than 20 weeks, but most places only offer two ultra sounds so that's why they wait till 20 weeks. Idk I just feel like 12 weeks is too early to tell.
I found out just before 15 wks via ultrasound. I see my ob every 2 weeks and have them check just to be sure..still same results and I'm almost 22 wks now 😊
