Yeah it doesn't affect your delivery time at all. Once they get it sorted and your on meds u just carry on as normal through the pregnancy

I wouldn't stress yet the d dimer is notorious for being out when your pregnant as I found out post delivery when I had leg and chest pain and ended up having a vq scan looking for clots. Someone will ring u today and discuss but really they should do an ultrasound to confirm clot placement. Then u will be given a higher dose of a blood thinner eventually going doing to a preventative dose. But don't stress many who have slightly elevated results are later found not to have a clot. But u will need to be careful. Not to have a massage of your legs and not to cross your legs and to stay mobile and not allow the blood to pool too long on car journeys etc. I have a condition called factor v Leiden so this has become my life for years now anyway.

What test was that a d dimer? Are u on any meds? You may be required to inject fragmin or similar daily for the rest of your pregnancy and up to 6 weeks post partum like me. I've done it in my last two pregnancies. And possibly aspirin too but I had to stop mine due to stomach issues weeks back
