I got it done before my son was 1. it was that bad. hard to get up and down. but if you baby it you should be completely fine after about a month. BE CAREFUL. you can get a hernia really easily

@chinue, I have been getting very sick sometimes because of it and Everytime I eat it hurts soooooo bad😥

@brandyi87, they told me not to pick him up. or minimal as possible. which is close to impossible. don't bring right clothes back. your gonna want the most comfiest you have

I use organic Bragg's acv and dilute with water add a little honey and drink before or after i eat

Agh I'm sorry hon. I've lost count of how many patients I've had go through this. It can be a simple recovery if you have it done laparoscopically (a few small incisions) and get through the lifting restrictions ok.

It's normally a same day surgery, so you should get to go home the same day.

@brandyi87, im so anti meds, surgery... Lol all that.. in willing to try everything naturally and holistically before I go under the knife.. those two have worked for me thus far, there are other methods as well

You can try to relieve symptoms, but it doesn't fix the problem unfortunately. This is from MedHelp--doctors give advice on different ailments.

It's a lot to take in, I know! I had my first surgery at 13 😲 Usually we make it worse by over thinking it lol, so I'd focus on being positive about recovery 😆
