QUESTION LADIES:So this is my bf & I's first baby together. I've never been to an actual doctor's appointment because I've been in the hospital with other issues...so this will be my first prenatal appointment but they'll also do an ultrasound. It'll be the first time that we both get to see our baby. Am I wrong for not wanting his family to come? (they've asked)...I just feel like it's too much...& I just want this to be a moment for me & my bf...thoughts?

You do what you feel is best. You can record it for them on your phone and show them after.
I also had my fiancé record her heartbeat (at a regular appt w their doppler)
ya that's a lil much. if you're comfortable, invite someone/them to midway sono or 3d sono if you're getting one
@babyelkins2016, @desiraeriley @misholi87 @mamaash thank y'all. I just didn't want to sound selfish and he makes me feel bad because they're asking...I'll definitely consider recording it. They didn't even let me see at the hospital
the less stress the better in the beginning. if you want them to go later on you can. we record all of the ultrasounds so we can share with family. maybe try doing that
we told both sides of our family that all sonogram appointment were just going to be me and my boyfriend and they can love on our daughter as much as they want when she's born. And same for delivery
not wrong at all! it's a good moment for you two to share alone if that's what you want. ☺️

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Trigger. Lost baby
Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
So I scheduled my appointment for Thursday when my insurance is active! I'm just wondering if I should pay out of pocket to get a blood test done at this point 😩.
I hadn't been testing with fmu, so I just thought.. Let me test with my $1 test with fmu and see what happens (I've been testing with frer only - 1st Pic is the last one I took on Sat) and I got a faint line I think.. I've been getting negative with frer.
