@mskandice oh wow I did not know about this at all. can You private message me with more info I have a lot of questions if you do not mind
Yes im pretty sure u can...all u need is the doctor note and you submit it to the state its only 6 weeks of 70% pay but its something. I hadnt been at my job long enough when I had my son so I had to use state disability. Technically after vaginal birth u are disabled for 6 weeks and csection u are for 8 weeks.
@mrsgower true I already talked to them and when it's busy I can not sit down. so I Will be leaving this Friday
@marcial_naomi, tell them it's very hard for you to stand for long periods of time like you have been and let them know you may have to go on maternity leave earlier due to that..they may accommodate and give you a place to sit down
@mrsgower I am just trying to do the right thing with this job. I do not want to leave without them knowing
@marcial_naomi, if you have the money then I would go ahead and take it! I know I would! especially these last two days before I'm induced
@bugmama yes I am just so tired first baby i did not know my body could be in so much pain :/
@mommytobe1004 I work 6days a week and 9-5 plus they are not paying me either and everything is hurting me already
@bugmama I am still working but I am going to the OB tomorrow to do my check up and she will be signing my paper I just do not want to stop showing for work that is not nice either.
@mrsgower you are strong they are not paying for my maternity and my husband said is enough so I think is time I work 6 days a week
@mskandice yes and they are not paying for it and my feet are bad... my back is already killing me I only have one day off that is Sunday and I told her I needed Thursday off too
@hladybug yes, is really hard and i am in pain my due day is almost 1wk away.
I'm a cashier and have your same issue and I'm not getting paid leave. idk when I should leave though because there only having me work two days a week where I've been to hospital a lot due to work. but idk what's worse...not working or only working for 100$ paycheck every other week
I had to take leave at 34 weeks I was having a lot of issues with pain. With my son I worked up until 9 days before having him.
I'm 40w5d and still working! I'll work until I have her..I'm gonna be a stay at home mom and I wanna give us all the extra money I can before she comes💚
If I was standing there no way i would be able to make it that long...my back hurt just sitting here, so I could imagine, the pain of standing for 8 hours.
@marcial_naomi, That's rough. My leave is mostly paid and I'm sure I'd be taking off earlier if I was on my feet all day.
@hladybug yes this one are not paying for my maternity leave that is why and my feet are killing me and back
I'm working right up until I deliver because I want as much time with my daughter as possible. I also have a desk job though so it's not exactly physical work. lol
@mskandice oh I am a cashier my feet and back are killing me already I am almost 38wks.
sure no prob.
