I just got irritated...I was on pinterest looking up the proper way to warm a bottle and they all said "buy a bottle warmer" 😒 I wanna know how many seconds it either needs to be put in a boiling water pot on the stove or in the microwave. People act like they can't do things the old fashioned way😟
You absolutely do NOT heat up a bottle in a microwave ladies. I know it's quick and easier but try to stay away from it. Microwaves do not heat evenly and they also remove healthy benefits and nutrients from the formula or breast milk. You can put a bowl of water in the microwave and heat that for a few minutes then put the bottle in there for about 6-7 minutes (no longer than 10).
exactly!!! i never wasted money on bottle warmers.. like wtf? do it in the damn microwave or stove.. people r so lazy these days i swear! Luckily my kids never liked warm bottles when they were young.. They took just fine to regular room temp bottles..
@answeredprayer16 put formula in bottle.. Shake it & warm for 30 sec.. That's what my mom does all the time
i usually microwave some water in a container then put bottle there for a couple minutes depending on how hot water is then shake it real good n test it
yeah I'm thinking I'll just wing it and obviously check it before I feed her..I plan to breastfeed tho but not just exclusively
my lactation consultant said don't ever heat your milk in the microwave or shake it. heat up water and place your bottle in it just long enough to take the chill off, you want it around room temp.
