Yeah don't do the caster oil I've heard a lot of bad things about that. I never personally tried that but everything I mentioned in my above comment I tried and it worked fine I was dialated to a 4 both times before I was admitted to the hospital for labor and when the time comes this time I'll do the same things. good luck to you :)

@ashthomaswilliams2016, I'm gonna try all these things after 37 weeks .. except the drinking oil thing haven't heard good stories about that ...
if this is your first it's normal for you to not be dialated or have felt contractions. you can have them and not feel them. as for helping the process walking a lot keeping hydrated a yoga ball and sex always did wonders. just don't over do it. I also would get on all 4s on the bed and rotate my hips in a circular motion once a day with my second pregnancy haha sounds silly but it seemed to work for me.
@mandy642, wow
I delivered the day after my due date, had no dilation at all until i went into labor, I had braxton hicks from 37 weeks and onward it wasnt too bad for me just tightening in my uterus.
I'm due the 2nd so don't feel bad lol
I'm 37 and not dilated either
I'm 34 weeks due September 22 and I've been having Braxton hicks all thru out the day, everyday for 3 weeks, so uncomfortable but this is also my 4th child, I don't remember having them as much with my other pregnancies
Yup normal
