Anyone have any advice fool-proof advice for potty training? I know my son is ready, he pulls off his diaper after he goes and tells me AFTER he poops or pees, but that's just it. I can't put him on the potty after. I got him acquainted with his new potty, so he'll sit on it willingly on his own and that's it. I tried leaving him naked to catch him peeing, but he thought it was a game and ran from me while peeing down the hall and laughing hysterically lol. Almost caught him pooping, but when I put him on the potty, he stopped and held it for the rest of the night. Anything?! Thanks!

unfortunately they didn't have those baby urinals, so fruit loops was next best thing, and yes 20months is still a little young to aim😊😊
He's too little for target practice just yet he's almost 20 months. I'm going to get him a baby urinal with the little spinner you can pee on lol. Right now i'd be happy with him just peeing near the toilet instead of down my hallway while he laughs maniacally!
I put fruit loops In the toilet and told my nephews to aim, it worked for them😊,but my sisters wasn't to happy with me wasting food.

I don't think he is quite ready my daughter was the same way she finally went after I put her on the potty and stepped out and closed the door! that was it she was potty trained! I would keep up what your doing but don't push it to much. he will be ready soon.
A church friend swears by this method but it's something you have to commit to. You have to spend the whole weekend doing nothing but potty breaks. So what she did to potty train her son was she'd take him to the potty first thing in the morning then give him some juice 30 mins after. Then 15 mins after the juice she'd put him back on the potty til he went a little. If he peed anything at all she'd give him a piece of candy. She repeated the process the whole day in 30 mins to 1 hour intervals. She also only put underwear on him so if he did pee before the potty break he'd feel wet and uncomfortable. After the weekend he got the hang of it and was really excited to go to the restroom vs using diapers or having an accident on himself

Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week.
