Story time
When I had my baby, my aunt and her two sons ages 4 and 7 came out to visit. While they were here I would go up to my room to feed Frankie just so no one would be uncomfortable and I didn't know if it was inappropriate to bf in front of two small boys. While they were here their suitcases were up in my room. Sometimes they would come up to get something while I was breastfeeding and they would see me. Their response wasn't "ew" or "what the heck are you doing?" they would just say "Oh, Frankie's eating" and then continue to go about their business. It got to the point where I would just feed her downstairs on the couch because they literally did not care. So if two children can see a breastfeeding baby, realize that she's just eating, and then continue to watch their cartoons or eat their breakfast, why do adults have such a hard time doing the same thing? It really blew my mind that there are people out there who would berate a mother feeding her baby, meanwhile a 4 and 7 year old are more mature about it. Idk, I was just thinking about it this morning and thought I would share.
