It's been 3 weeks and the thing on my baby belly button still hasn't fallen off, but his pediatrician said don't do anything to it and definitely don't get it wet, it will fall off by itself. But I just feel the need to clean it or something, it stinks!

also i wound cut up makeup removing cotton rounds into 3/4 and pour some alcohol on them and cary it with me to clean kt after every diaper change

with a cotton swan you can moisten it with rubbing alcohol and get as close around the rim as possible and dab it..it wont hurt him if you dab it on the belly button
