Question, when did you/when are you planning on going on maternity leave?

only reason im leaving it to the end is so ive more time off with baby as only off for 6 months x

Well the good thing is I work for my fiancé and basically when I come out of work it's a case of me being a full time parent until either a) We can't afford me to be off full time or b) I'm going mental and need at least a part time teaching job. He's basically said that he'd rather me be off and do the child care instead of working to just about cover child care costs @mrsschmalz

I went at 29 weeks because this is my second pregnancy with PGP/SPD and just couldn't bare working on my feet anymore

If your really struggling then don't feel you have to work to a certain point @xkathrynlouise However just bare in mind the sooner you leave before baby comes the less maternity you'll have after babies here. I finished at 35weeks this time, which means I'll have to go back to work when my boys 7/8months. If financially it makes sense for me to go back anyways. I took 15months off with my 1st son.

Sorry just read your above status @xkathrynlouise lol. I didn't have to go back the first time. But I must admit around 12months I was ready to go back haha.

I went at 34 weeks. Mainly because my son started 6 weeks holidays so it's saved me money on child care but I was so ready. I would of happily gone at 28 weeks to be fair xx

I worked until 39 weeks, and I think it was too long!
