is only being 1 cm dilated bad ? at this point ? because im already stressing . and once i got checked im cramping .

No I was 38 weeks and 0 dilation and I went from a 1 to a 10 in one day and had her at 38 weeks

No because your body doesn't need to dilate until labor begins. Being dilated before labor is just a bonus.
