Does anyone else have potty mouths in front of their kids? I was raised by two people with mouths like sailors. Cursing…

Don't do that it's not like drugs u cAnt leave!!! God gives us kids to raise properly not to just raise... What u give them today they will give to the world tomorrow... Up to u how u use it!!! 😀

My husband is an abuser he curse too much I'm really stressed how I will raise my child in that atmosphere.

i don't see an issue with it. my parents cursed like sailors and we all knew better than to repeat it too. sometimes it would slip out and it was no big deal but my mom would be damned if we cursed at her. I'm gonna make an effort to not curse around my son but if i do, i do. its not like I'm hurting him in any way. it's just words momma.

well, I'm not one to judge. I grew up in a family where you are taught to not repeat what you hear so I get it.

@meera, My kids are raised properly. My abuse of curse words hasn't affected them. They're well rounded, mannerly, do well in school. I wouldn't say it's like drugs. If say the word fuck when I drop something, they won't overdose and die.

Its a habit but I try not to do it a lot. But my kids know not to repeat it.

I swear like a sailor too, but I curb it in front of my kids. I want them to know how to express themselves without them first, and if that includes cursing later on? Meh. Lol.
