You should see if they have an app for your state benefits so you can see exactly when you get approved. If they need anything else, you can also take pictures and upload it directly to the app and they will get it. It took me close to a month to get my Medicaid but just take this time to do your research on what OB will work best for you :)

Where I live (OR) it's a super long wait to but if and when you qualify it gets back dated to the day you applied so if you had to make appoint between that time they still cover them. It happened to me because I found out I was pregnant in December I applied in early January and then made my first appointment and they didn't tell me I was approved till February but they still covered the charges for the January visit.

Yea, @nygirl3rdbabymiami is right. I thought I was 7 weeks when I went to the doctor the first time and I found out I was only 5. It seems so much longer since I went so early. Plus even if you do an ultrasound, you won't see much, that early I don't even think a heartbeat. And Medicaid will only pay for so many ultrasounds. 30/45 days is the high end. It usually takes no more than a week

@2016stacys, you can always call them and ask for the Actual card Id number, or you can go online into your approved application and print a card until you get actual card good luck
