I can't stand the fact that I've been crying non stop since the doctors told me my son is in the 5th percentile & weighing less than 4 lbs and I'm 37w3d, everyone making it seem like it's my fault" you need to eat more" " if you would've been eating in the beginning then maybe he would've gained weight" from my in laws , "friends" like I'm already at my breaking point stop making me feel worse about my son...has anyone had anything familiar happen to the how much did you baby come out at birth. Please I just need to feel okay about the situation
@rebeccca3009 did you get to take your oldest daughter home when you left the hospital or did she have to stay afterwards
don't feel bad at all you didn't do anything my oldest daughter was born weighing 4.15 at 38 weeks and she was perfectly healthy just small and the doctor made me feel terrible but I as happy to have a healthy baby with 10 fingers and 10 toes. I came to relies after I had the rest of my children I carry small baby's because they were all in the 5 lb range
girl, don't let anyone bring you down, some babies are just little peanuts, my daughter is 10 months old and weighs maybe 16 pounds
@michelle0822, my first child was born at 5lbs and 4oz and she was over due by 2 days it's not your fault sometimes we just give birth to smaller babies. My daughter is still way under the growth and weight for her age. You have nothing to feel bad for at all so don't let anyone bother you.
girl don't feel like that . when I had my first born my daughter I was literally 41 weeks she was only 5 pounds tiny tiny but healthy ad a rock . stay positive . you did your best and will continue to do the best for your baby .
My babies were 35 weeks one was 4.14 no issue besides jaundice which is nothing to do with food. Don't stress I think you'll both be fine!
@michelle0822, she came home with me.
