I worked in a restaurant setting for 6 years and it's perfectly okay to eat burgers and steaks this way just not raw chicken or pork. (:

I never eat raw hamburger, but for some reason for the last two times I ate hamburgers at home they looked like that and if anything was wrong my body and the baby would have reacted and I have checked his heart beat and everything he is very active and all.. I just was curious about the lil bit of pink in it.

coming from the city and living in the country I've noticed the difference in minds... ask city folk if this is alright and they look at you like you are crazy! but in the country most people eat them just like that.... so here is my view and happy medium I've found. some people like theirs too raw... so if it has a couple spots of PINK, you are just fine, but if it's red at any point (especially the middle) I wouldn't eat it :)
