Does anyone know if those lactation foods they sell actually work? Or lactation homemade recipes? I've been having trouble keeping my milk supply and have to use mostly formula. It took a while for my milk to come in due to the fact of having a section. I want to breast feed but right now I'm not making enough to keep my baby full and hydrated. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated 💕
She said she just did once a day. Just make sure you're drinking a lot of water still. I know breastfeeding is hard. 😕 hopefully it works out for you soon!!
mother's milk tea, make sure you're increasing your liquid intake as well
Thanks I'll try it out. Do you know how many times a day you should do it? Cause I had breastfed the first 4 days and on the 5th I had to take baby to the ER since he wasn't peeing and they told me he was dehydrated. So I've been really scared to feed him via breast ever since because I'm worried my milk supply isn't enough. I try to feed him my milk in between or before each formula feed but I've had ongoing trouble with getting him to latch. 😔
the Mexican abuelita chocolate and lactation cookies made with the Brewer's yeast help also drinking lots of water.
