I made it til 5cm

I just took it as soon as they offered it to me and it was amazing haha

with my first I didnt take the epidural. All natural until I had to have a c-section.

I didn't have time to get any kind of meds so be careful with waiting! Your body can jump from a 4 to an 8 in no time!

I made it till I was 8cm dilated. I was 6cm dilated when my water broke. Didn't feel no pain till 8cm. Had my baby at 32weeks. N he's still up at the nicu June 15th he was born. Not supposed to be here till Aug 8th.

@katielee5897, how long were you in labor before you had to start pushing? I've heard from some people they got it too soon and it stopped working by the time they had to push.

@lashellg, because you didn't want it or because it went to fast?

@addisonsmommy801, my Dr said they can do it up till I start pushing as long as I can sit still. I'm so nervous it's finally hit me I have to give birth some how

with my first daughter i got it at 3cm with this baby I got it when they admitted me at 5/6 cm. I recommend you get it as soon as you get there because the worse your contractions get the harder it is for you to stay still. With my first daughter it was easier for me to stay still because the contractions weren't so intense. With this baby it was way harder to sit still.

I was in labor 20 hours but I progressed every time they checked me and I only pushed for 30 min! Mine worked like a charm the whole way through pushing

I didn't get any, but I wanted it around 8 cm lol

if you can get that far you may as well go natural, if you're having meds I'd get them soonee

Might as well go all natural! The actual pushing and crowning of the baby isn't nearly as bad as the contractions. The contractions last for hours. Pushing the baby out is pretty quick :p but with my second I made it up to 5cm no pain. Then they broke my water and that's when the pain started. At 6cm they gave me pitocin which is basically hell on earth.

I didnt feel a need for it @mrsbrazeal . It wasn't bad at all for me. It would have been a calm and smooth delivery if it wasn't for her head lol.

I made it till my water broke and then I just said I didn't want to deal with pain anymore pressure from pushing was intense still though

@rkline03, I'm so scared. I'm not trying to show it but on the inside I'm flipping out about giving birth.

@mrsbrazeal, I didn't know I was in labor until my water broke my contractions were never consistent and all the doctor's and nurses kept saying I wasn't they were trying to get me to last a few more days and thought I had a placenta abruption because I couldn't stop bleeding. so basically I was flipping terrified and then I was like whole crap baby.

I made it to 4 1/2
