The woman in scheduling that I spoke to didn't say what it was called, just that it was mandatory before setting up my first appointment with them. She said it would be about an hour, and there's a lot of paperwork involved. But I'm so glad to hear that you had such a great experience there! I really hope it's the class with tour, I've got so many questions I want to ask them. @mommyofkids
Which class is it? Is it the maternity tour class? If it is, they just go over the policies and talk about what it's like to give birth there. They take you on a tour of the maternity ward and show you the rooms. They're all private. It's a very nice hospital and I had an amazing experience last time. I'm attending the class in September. They have your pre-registration paperwork for you there.
I'm transferring there from a hospital in Beckley. But they told me that before I could schedule an appointment, I had to attend a class. I was just wondering, what does the class entail? @mommyofkids
I gave birth there 18 months ago and will be giving birth there again in October. First birth was an early induction due to loss of amniotic fluid that ended in an emergency c-section. This one will be an attempted vaginal birth.
