Is it bad to smoke marijuana while being pregnant

Just read some research, people will shame and shun you for your personal choices/preferences. The majority of babies born and unborn have completely healthy lives before and after birth from a mother who uses, I've read and experienced first hand and the babies or people in my life are completely fine. Its just up to you and what you decide to do. Heres a couple things to help you learn effects.

I lived in co for my first pregnancy and drs actually prescribe it there because the risks are smaller than the anti nausea pills

@flrsk_, the risk for SIDS is higher if you smoke. I wouldn't do it!!!!

its not a bad or good thing. but if u can not smoke for 9 months thats probally the best choice you can make. i personally haven't beacuse i dont want any problems some people have issues and some people dont. u just never truly know.

@flrsk_, It isn't a BAD BAD thing but it isn't going to kill you or your baby I smoked in the early stages of my pregnancy just because I was a pot head before I got pregnant an I didn't find out I was pregnant until 3 months it won't harm you or your baby just cause you (smoke) but if the state gets in it you gotta be extra careful cause then you'll know what happens next....

At least they did with my cousin but could be different now. It's not worth the risk.

It's your decision honestly. But CPS does get involved if it's in yours or your child's system at time of birth.

Just be careful and not to have it in your system when giving birth!... Just saying.

everyone's body is different, just because you got lucky don't mean everyone else will.. will you be able to live with yourself if God forbid you smoked Marijuana and something happened to your baby??? better safe than sorry hun..

Exactly what @eri571 stated. My daughter is healthy as can be i didn over due it but I had my times I would simply because I was a pothead before pregnancy I even asked my dr and he said theres nothing that indicates shed be harmed. Just of course if possible to refrain to avoid as much as possible smoke is still bad to an extent .

I haven't found anything bad about it honestly, I've smoked my entire pregnancy (not very often) and my baby girl is healthy as anything. No complications and I'm 40 weeks today
