My newborn refuses to sleep in his bassinet.... he only falls asleep on his bouncy chair and it doesn't bounce cuz I have it on my recliner..... I heard it's bad for them to sleep on it but he has been fighting it and only falls asleep on the bouncy.... he likes the feeling of being held..... so it seems like he is being help on the bouncy..... the second I put him on the bassinet or crib....HE WAKES UP.... no what do I do ????
@minimontez, @belles_mom422 @bianca_rose @camdensmamma @mom04 @momof031989 he finally fell asleep. I was feeling him and he fell asleep in my arms and I out him on the bassinet....... oh crapp now he is moving and up again :( :(: :( that was not even 5minutes
I'd try swaddling and I saw someone put rolled towels under the crib sheet in the shape of a box so baby felt snug, maybe try that?
the rock n play was a lifesaver for me but now she's 3 months old and sleeps in the bassinet at night and a crib at daycare
@minimontez, I read that it is not good for their spine and breathing.....
BOTH my babies spelt in their bouncer for the first 2 months and they're both 100% fine. Once they got used to a better sleep schedule I transitioned them to the pack n play
@babytj0214, after a few weeks my daughter went right back into her bassinet
@momof031989, that's the thing I don't want him getting used to it. he used to sleep in bassinet with no problem and couple of times we left him in it because he feel asleep
@mom04, I stopped swaddling. maybe I should start again. .. he likes his hands out
Have you tried a rock n play? My little guy is so picky on where he sleeps and he's loved that since we got it.. I let him sleep in his bouncer for only naps though
my daughter only slept in her carseat for a fee weeks. it scared me but drs said if she is comfortable and that's where she wants to sleep then let her. I would let your baby sleep in the bouncy seat an just put it somewhere safe. it will only be a phase I'm sure
Have you tried swaddling? My son couldn't be put down unless he was swaddled.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Is what we’re doing okay? Currently for Harrison’s naps during the day (he needs like 3 of them still!) we have to push him in his pram and use white noise the whole time so he’ll sleep. At night it’s really just a case of he lays on the sofa with us and we put him in his cot when he falls asleep. We’ve never been able to just put him in his cot and let him fall asleep on his own as it just doesn’t work. We’ve tried so many times to get him to settle on his own which usually ends in us being up ...
My 7 week old baby falls asleep faster and sleeps longer on his tummy. Which I have read he shouldn't sleep on his stomach. I'm just wondering how bad would it be if he did.
won't sleep unless being held
Ladies, I'm going crazy from not being able to sleep. McKenna won't sleep unless she's being held. Not sure if it's my smell, the warmth, or what but I need sleep! Every night I end up just falling asleep with her but I don't like that at all. It worries me. What do I do?! If I don't get some sleep soon, I'm gonna lose my mind.
Mine will only sleep on back if swaddled, if not she sleeps on her belly
