my baby is scheduled to be born via csection on 8/22 I'll be 37 weeks

white moms tend to avoid sun light and stay in doors to keep cool and prevent sunburn. black moms don't have to worry about sun burn on the same level, so are more likely to get more vitamin D .

jaundice can happen with babies that go full term. it's a lack of vitamin D. it's more common in white children than black children.

Both of my kids were born 1-2 weeks early. My first was born a little over a week early and my second was 2 weeks early. My first had a little jaundice. But they were both fine and are healthy as ever!!💖💕💖

My son was born 4 weeks early, he had a little jaundice. But other than that he was perfect 😊💙

Mine was born five weeks early and he had a little jaundice and just needed some oxygen help. Other than that he was just a tiny little fighter. So I'm sure two weeks is okay.

My first was born at 38 weeks, my second was born at 36 weeks and they both had jaundice. My second had to be put under the bililights but my first I just had to sit him in front of the window a couple of hours each day.

I know several who were born then and they were healthy as can be! it's different for everyone.
