can anyone tell me what happens if you go in for reduced movement at 37 almost 38 weeks? I've been in previously 7 times…

I didn't need to, the doctor came in a knew me from last time, he spoke to his boss and told her that it needs to be done and she agreed @oliviafaye xx

I had a friend aswell who got induced at 36 weeks because of constant reduced movement. she was practically in every week cos she couldn't feel anything. they induced her. when the doctor comes round, be all upset and say you don't understand what it is doing to you mentally, your constantly thinking something is wrong and say it's not good for you or the baby. be really upset to them, and say you have been in more than 7 times, stress to them that your not going home untill something gets done. That's the only way they will bloody listen to you. drs do my head in at times because they don't understand what it's doing to you. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you hun. let me no what the Dr says. but please tell him how you feel xx

the doctors are coming round to soon, hopefully they will decide to induce me, but I don't think they will because I have a consultant appointment on Wednesday so I think they will leave it to them:/ x @oliviafaye x

I went in with reduced movements at 36 weeks 5 days. I had gestational diabetes aswell tho and my blood sugars were constantly high even tho I was on insulin. when I went in, they booked me in for an induction 2 days later and had her at 37 weeks 1 day. I had only been in twice with reduced movements. they should defo book you in for a induction with the amount of times you have been x

There isn't a set guideline for reduced movement verse induction. Or they would have everybody in saying they have reduced movements when they get fed up. If the trace is fine they will just leave u for labour to come on its own. If the traces have changed since your last ones or show baby is showing as less active they do induce. That's why many go in nd only ever get more monitoring and some are induced.
