Yeah for the first month or two you're going to be waking up every 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours cause that's how often they have to feed. Do you breast feed or bottle feed?
my son woke up at midnight, 3 am, and at 6 am. by 6 he was up for the day besides a few naps. I would keep him awake from like 5pm to like 9 or 10. give him a bath, then get him warm and toasty. I would then feed him one big meal, even if he started to fall asleep I would wake him. then burp him and rock him to sleep. after doing that routine for a while he finally started to sleep through the night
@novaskyy, I formula feed now since I left the hospital. he wakes up every 2 to 4 hours. he's a good baby. I was just curious. @kparis I'm enjoying every second of it. I just wanted to make sure I have him on the "right" schedule lol
that young they are supposed to wake up often and eat. but my baby is 3 weeks now and only wakes up once @ 5am. at night I give him a warm bath and a warm bottle and dress him warmly and swaddle him. he's still newborn to so I'm sure his schedule will change to but idk

I know it's exhausting. Hang in there and try to soak in the 3am cuddles they are over too quickly!

How much does he weigh? Usually when they're 10-12 pounds they can sleep longer because they don't need to eat as much.
