I have a question, if WIC doesn't give the baby formula vouchers until after they're born, does the hospital give you formula or do you have to purchase it until your WIC appointment?

Looks like I'm going to have to buy a few cans of formula with cash today don't think this can she has now is going to last till her WIC appointment on Monday and I don't want to take no chances and end up running out. I swear WIC does not give you enough formula to last a whole month my baby goes through them cans like it ain't nothing but I appreciate what WIC do give though because $17.96 for one can of formula that will probably last three to four days at the max is EXPENSIVE!!! So thank god for WIC 🙌🙌💯

My hospital only gave me a few and I told them they were all gone so they can give me more before I left lol. After that we had to buy some until we got the WIC vouchers.

Most hospitals give you samples but you probably will have to buy some before your WIC appointment
