My Babys is 3 weeks and one day old. I know the Dr.s tell you to wait 6 weeks before having sex.. I want to know what you all think or have done.. I had a C-section and I think I feel good enough to have sex.. But not sure.. What do you think about the 6 week rule mommies?

TMI question but just out of curiosity, how often do you have sexy time with your SO? If you don’t want to answer the question or you don’t agree with my question then SCROLL ON because guess what, sex is normal and natural. 🙄 I’ll start, once a week. I know, I know, my sex life sucks 😩

your placenta detaches from uterus leaving an open wound essentially that can get infected. I always suggest listen to your doc. it's not like they are telling us not to have sex for 6 weeks to be mean.. 👍 @veda1010

I waited 4 weeks..my docs told me wait 4-6 weeks.

your body is still healing and the risk of an infection is high. it's better to wait

I had a c-section and waited the 6 weeks, I felt good by the 3rd week but I didn't want to risk it so I prefer to wait

I think you should wait you just had a major surgery so even though you feel up to it your body isn't at its best right now and it could either do nothing or it could cause problems it's just better to be safe in my opinion
