would you nurse uncovered in a hospital? I cover myself wherever I go when I nurse her but I'm going to her 4 month check up in an hour. I don't feel like I have to cover myself while I'm in a damn hospital. (It's kaiser)
Hahaha it's okay I didn't think of it until she was like 5 months and I saw a mama here talking about the two shirt method LOL I used to either hold a blanket over or sit in an uncrowded corner or in the car, but that was a pain! I would have let it all hang loose but I am scared of some asshole confronting me, I would probably cry if someone cane up to me angry about me breastfeeding without at least most of my skin covered 😔
@hellosweetie, I always wear tanks tops too and a shirt why didn't I ever think of that. 🙄
I don't cover ever, she always hated having something over her face and would sweat real bad! I do the two shirt method, I wear a tank or nursing shirt underneath and a tee over that then when I latch her I pull the tank down and top shirt up and she gets the nipple and there's no boob showing 😉
I nurse my daughter uncovered at her doctors. But, she also hates the covers, so I nurse her uncovered everywhere. But, do whatever you're most comfortable with! 🙂
@jaaym_, ooh, gotcha. I honestly wouldn't feel the need to cover up. everyone there should think it's the norm.
@bodaciousb6, I'm talking about in the waiting area.
@jaaym_, they look at vaginas and babies all the time. give them a break, breastfeed uncovered
I never covered in the hospital but everywhere else.
I'm driving myself.
I have just decided when I'm in labor and have to go to the hospital. I will be the one driving that hour and a half to get there. I think my husband would freak out too much bless his heart and he is at work all day anyway. And my grandma.... Heck no. Everyone complains I drive like crazy. I'm actually super safe. No one has rode with her. I love the woman but she drives like a lunatic. I seriously am scared to death she will wreck one day. And even more when I'm in the ca...
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
please no rude comments im not going to argue with yall but personally of i choose to breast feed I will pump or but a cover and cover myself not bc I think it's wrong but I'm not one to just show off my body it makes me.uncomfortable at the thought
Hospital bags help
Hi mummy's I'm going to be 30 w tues was thinking of starting to pack my hospital bags for me n bub this week as i may go early, I no some mummy's say they didn't use half the stuff they took so was wondering what are the main things I need so I can go shopping and what u didn't need I'm having him at Logan hospital not sure if they supply anything
I don't want to have my baby go to her grandma's tonight. I'm going to miss her while I'm in the hospital for a few days. :(
@hellosweetie, if I'm alone I'm not sure what I would do if I'm nursing my girl in public and an asshole does this. I would want to fire back so bad but with my daughter in my arms I wouldn't want to put her in a dangerous situation. I'm not scared of anyone but when it comes to being in a situation like that I have to remember my daughters safety. Her dad is usually with me when I'm out with her now and I tell him I'm going to nurse covered or uncovered whoever likes it or not and he's like that's fine no problem so if that were to happen with him around or anyone else I would feel safer
